Let us take you out for a raw, authentic experience of arctic coastal culture in idyllic Vidrek, about six miles south of Narvik. Stornaustet is a hand built traditional northern Norwegian log boathouse, with a size of 180 square metres. This specific style of log building is unique for the northern parts of Norway, and the dining area features an indoor open fireplace. During the colder months, Stornaustet houses a traditional, 40 foot arctic Fembøring boat, built the way it has been done since the age of the Vikings. For groups of 30 to 40 people, we offer the chance to join a traditional, uniquely northern dining experience. Breidablikk Guesthouse has since 1950 been offering accommodations reflecting the scandinavian concept of hygge – in central Narvik. The entire house has recently been renovated -all rooms are suited with all-new furnishing and features modern, stylish bathrooms. All rooms offer both WiFi and TV.
Breakfast is served in the dining room, with a panoramic view of the city, the fjord, and the arctic mountains.
